Magpie Springs Photographic Competition

Each year Magpie Springs Winery puts on a photographic competition and I have been involved from it’s conception and have become friends with the owner Avril Thomas who is a fantastic portrait painter http://magpiesprings.com.au/#about

All images entered in the competition have to be taken on the property and this year I thought I would try something different and made a compilation of images, in colour, called ‘Vineyard: A Study’.

It was well worth it as I won a prize of $200.00 for tuition or facility hire at The Centre for Creative Photography and Light Gallery in Adelaide, South Australia http://www.ccp.sa.edu.au/

I am looking forward to taking part in one of their workshops and developing more skills in this wonderful passion of photography.
