Kuitpo Forest

On a recent trip to Magpie Springs Winery to see their latest exhibition I had to travel through Kuitpo Forest. With clouds starting to disperse the low light conditions gave the forest a soft, quite feeling. I wanted to capture not only that feeling but the overall texture of the plantation pines.

Due to the warmer conditions of the weeks before and a good rainfall many fungi had emerged from their underground environment in a flash of colour.
